How is this still an issue months on? I haven't been able to install the Autodesk Desktop App on my Windows 10 machine for months now. Installed Autodesk software with educational (student) licence: I have left the PC for a few hours and seen no difference, I have attempted the install with my firewall also disabled etc. There is no Autodesk Desktop App anywhere on the machine to be found. To reinstall I have downloaded the Autodesk_Desktop_App_Bootstrap.exe file, this then proceeded to generate the following files in the downloads: update.xml and AdApplicationManager-installer.exeĪfter completing the download loading bar, the install begins and abruptly closes. However it should be noted I could never find Autodesk Application Manager Service in the services list.
I then followed the instructions for the damaged install. I followed the instructions in the link below:įirst I followed the corrupted update instructions which kept leading me back to the infinite loading circle. The Autodesk Desktop App, had been stuck on just a loading circle.
